Why Transparency Matters at T&K Wagyu

𝗪𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴.

At T&K, transparency has always been really important to us. We share the pretty parts of farming because, obviously, we love them.  𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘂𝘀.

We tell you what our cattle eat. We talk about how we raise & handle them & where our cattle come from and the genetics behind them. We show you our beef when it comes back from the processor. We talk about processing, cuts, pricing & even the things that don’t always go exactly as planned.

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺 or because our name is on the package. 𝗪𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺. And we believe that expectation should extend far beyond T&K as well.

Whether you’re buying directly from a farmer, at the grocery store or ordering dinner at a restaurant, we should be demanding transparency about our food.

That doesn’t mean there is only one right way to raise cattle or one right place to buy beef. It means we should have enough honest information to make that decision for ourselves.
